Chetco Community Public Library District seeks a smart, friendly, and customer-service oriented person to join our team as a part time (32-hours/week) Library Clerk. Under the general direction of the Library Director, you will work the circulation desk, help patrons with questions & searches, and perform a variety of other duties as assigned.  The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma, some familiarity with libraries, and strong computer skills. Your regular schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, & Saturday 9am-6pm (off Sunday, Wednesday, & Thursday).  These days and hours are subject to change based on the needs of the library, and you may frequently work alternate hours to cover staff shortages and special circumstances.  Starting pay is $13/hour, plus health benefits, paid vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and participation in Oregon PERS.
