April 2018’s Featured Displays:

Lobby Display Case: A mixed-media art display by Leslie Wolf.

Large Meeting Room: “California Dreaming,” a collection of paintings by Crescent City artists Cathy Dean, Pauline Holmes, Kaye Stover, and Stephen Washburn.

Circulation Display Area: A collection of books of poetry celebrating National Poetry Month.

Poems folded into paper cranes are available for the public to take and share as part of “Poem in Your Pocket Day,” which takes place nationwide on April 26. For more information, visit www.poets.org.

 

Each month, the library showcases local artists and organizations in the large meeting room and lobby display case. A regular stop on the Second Saturday Art Walk, the meeting room gallery has displayed artwork of all mediums for more than two decades.
