Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated person for the position of part time Accounting Specialist.

Flexible schedule, up to 20 hours per week. Schedule can be adjusted as needed in coordination with Library Director, including partial remote work. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. $20/hour, plus participation in Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), 2 weeks of vacation leave annually, and generous sick & personal leave. The library is closed on Sundays and most holidays.

Areas of responsibility included Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, financial reporting, and various administrative functions. Relevant Associates Degree OR 5 years A/P & Payroll experience required. Experience with Special Districts, governmental, and/or nonprofit accounting preferred.

Position will begin on 7/1/2021 or after. Open until filled, but priority will be given to applicants who apply by 6/11/2021 at 5pm.
